UK Bans Handleless Segways for Public Use
- Crown Prosecution Service banned all "personal transport," including 'hoverboards' and segways from the footpath on Mondau.
- technically not "street legal" in UK
- not legal to ride on the sidewalk either, as it is technically a motor vehicle
- only allowed to ride on private property
- most rules come from Britain's Highway Act of 1835
- says people cannot "lead or drive any horse, ass, sheep, mule, swine, or cattle or carriage of any description"
