RSS Discussion Questions

1. I decided to choose the sites I subscribed to because they were not only fairly popular, but because they were the first ones to come to my mind when I saw the categories.
2. Because they were bigger sites and pages, their RSS feeds were fairly easy to find and subscribe to.
3. Monstercat and sWooZie are my favorites, as those two channels are my most visited on the internet.
4. You can use RSS feeds to get the latest information on your favorite subjects, do work projects, and even use it for business.
5. Depending on what I am studying in college and major in, my use of RSS feeds will depend greatly. However, I don't believe that I will be using them as often as I plan to.

Do Now 11/30

Out of all the Thanksgiving vacations I have had, this last weekend has been my favorite so far. My family; my mom, dad, brother, two cousins, two uncles and aunt all went down to Delray Beach in Florida to celebrate this year. My aunt and her family drove down, and my immediate family and my uncle flew down. My aunt's family and my uncle arrived last Tuesday, and my family arrived the next day.
Most of the days last week we went to the beach, and stayed there for a while. The water was too rough to go out swimming, and the lifeguards had a no swimming flag up. However, we went in anyway. We also went to the Everglades to go on an airboat tour. Finally, on the last day of the trip, we went to Miami so that I could bring my talents to South Beach and join the Miami Heat.
On the day of Thanksgiving, my uncle made a lot of food. A LOT OF FOOD. We all helped out in making the very large dinner, and watched football games while making it. When it was finally time to eat, I ate a lot of food. So much, that I gained four pounds over the break all together. Finally, my whole family went home, and now I have to deal with going to school for the next few weeks before Christmas.

7. How can Wikis be used in the classroom or in education? It can be used as a starting point for research.

Do Now 11/9

Over the long break this past weekend, I was fairly busy. On Thursday and Saturday night I worked at Steve's Steakhouse in Carlstadt and worked salad prep. On Thursday day, however, I went to Stockton University and toured the campus. It was a fairly small campus, however was really nice and appealed to me, as I am leaning more towards a smaller college. On Friday, I went to Panera Bread with a friend, and hung out with friends later in the day. On Sunday, I had family come over for dinner.

On Sunday day, my mother and I made pork roast and put it in the crockpot with all the ingredients. We also made baked potatoes and string beans, and prepared for my family to come over. My aunt, uncle, and two cousins came over for dinner. Before we ate, though, my cousin, brother and I went downstairs to play video games. We attempted to play NBA 2K16, however it did not work.

We decided to play Rocket League instead, and played until we were called up to eat. We ate, my family left, and I finished my homework on Sunday night.

In this article, it basically explains how copyright laws are useless when it comes to educational purposes. It is also affected by how much of the copyrighted product you use, and the effect of the potential market and use of the product. In most cases, it is okay to use copyrighted products, images, or videos for an educational purpose.
